On a muggy August day, the wheat crop of 2015 stood ready for the knife. And the rest of the combine. Using their LA-honed film skills Kyle and Wesley captured the combining process and some of my knowledge of wheat and organics. It became a little poignant for me when I realized that we were in a field that stands out in my memories of childhood; I watched my dad harvest wheat in this field about 60 years ago. In the present, I saw the name, Stuart Family organics, add a deeper dimension of tradition.
